Ice Fishing Hut, Borean Tundra

If you’re going to be ice fishing, an outhouse isn’t practical. You’ve got a shack at most.

But still, nature happens. That’s why chamber pots were invented.

When Rades tweeted at me that he’d found a chamber pot I wasn’t sure where he’d found it. I’m really amused that one of the set designers was thinking far enough ahead to include something so necessary. If you’re camping out on a frozen lake for weeks at a time, there are going to be times you gotta go but you can’t go outside.

The absence of waste management in fantasy should bother us far more than its inclusion. Bravo, unknown stage dresser. And thanks, Rades!

And you thought Borean Tundra was boring?

So this one is a sentimental favorite.

When I lost my job last week, my GM sent me a picture of a digital outhouse. It was then that I knew everything was going to work out. Thanks, boss.

Perfect Pumpkin Patch Potty

There’s this outhouse in the middle of a bunch of pumpkin patches in Trisifal Glades, right? And I guess that kind of makes sense, it’s like a portapotty for the workers, lets them stay out in the field longer.

This is one of the most sensibly-placed outhouses I’ve found. And that worries me on SO many levels.
